Avon Construction Training Group
The Bristol based Avon Construction Training Group is a not for profit membership organisation with members from Bristol, Bath and South Gloucestershire. We arrange discounted training in the region for the benefit of our members.
We also source training courses outside of our area to suit the need of our members, quite often working with other construction training groups.
Serving the needs of Industry
Avon Construction was first established over 30 years ago to bring together construction companies, by paying a small membership fee they shared the services of a Group Training Officer, to promote and deliver training within the construction industry.
Reformed in 1998, Avon Construction Training Group is now an independent Training Group that is grant-aided and working in partnership with the CITB.
We are a not in business to make profits, our primary aim is to work with our industry training partners to help keep the cost of training down for our members and to be a one point of contact for companies when sourcing their training requirements leaving our members free to get on with running their businesses.
We are very aware of the skills shortages and encourage our members to participate in giving young people work experience which may lead to an apprenticeship.
